Agreement to these terms

By accessing luun.ca, using the Luun sofa builder, contacting us, placing an order, or purchasing a Luun product, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the website or place an order. These terms may be updated from time to time, and the version posted on this page will apply when you use the website or make a purchase.

Website use

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial shopping, product research, customer support, and order-related purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
• Interfere with the website, checkout, sofa builder, hosting, security, or connected services.
• Copy, scrape, reproduce, or misuse Luun content, images, designs, copy, code, product information, or brand assets without permission.
• Submit false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized information.
• Attempt to access systems, accounts, data, or tools you are not authorized to use.

We may restrict, suspend, or block access to the website if we believe these terms are being violated or if access creates risk for Luun, our customers, or our service providers.

Products and product information

Luun makes reasonable efforts to display product details, dimensions, fabrics, colors, pricing, availability, and images accurately. However, product information may contain errors, may change without notice, or may appear differently depending on your screen, device, lighting, or browser.

Fabric color, texture, scale, softness, firmness, and appearance may vary slightly between photos, renders, swatches, production runs, and real-life use. Modular sofa layouts may also look different depending on room size, lighting, placement, and selected configuration.

Measurements are approximate. Because Luun products are soft goods, slight variation in dimensions, cushion shape, compression, fabric tension, and finish may occur.

Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. An order is not accepted until we confirm it, process it, or begin fulfillment.

We may refuse, cancel, or limit an order if there is a pricing error, stock issue, payment issue, fraud risk, delivery restriction, incorrect customer information, suspected abuse, or another operational reason.

You are responsible for reviewing your order before checkout, including product selection, fabric, color, quantity, shipping address, contact details, and any delivery requirements.

If you need to change an order after placing it, contact us as quickly as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered processing, fulfillment, dispatch, or delivery scheduling.

Pricing, payment, and financing

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout, unless stated otherwise. Taxes, delivery fees, discounts, financing costs, and other charges may be calculated separately during checkout.

We may update prices, promotions, discounts, product availability, and shipping fees at any time. A promotion is only valid while it is active and available on the website or otherwise confirmed by Luun.

Payments are processed by third-party checkout, payment, and financing providers. Luun does not store full credit card information on our own website servers.

If financing or installment payment options are available, approval, payment terms, fees, eligibility, and account management are handled by the financing provider. Luun is not responsible for a financing provider’s approval decision, credit decision, payment schedule, fees, or account terms.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates only. They may change because of inventory timing, freight delays, warehouse processing, carrier scheduling, customs, weather, address issues, building access issues, customer availability, or other circumstances outside our control.

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address, contact information, and any building, elevator, access, parking, or delivery instructions needed to complete delivery.

Before ordering, you should confirm that the product can fit through your doorways, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and final room. Luun is not responsible for failed delivery caused by access restrictions, incorrect measurements, or building limitations.

Additional fees may apply for missed appointments, refused deliveries, address changes, remote locations, storage, re-delivery, access issues, or special handling.

Returns and exchanges

Return eligibility, timelines, pickup fees, condition requirements, and refund timing are governed by the return policy posted on our website or otherwise confirmed by Luun at the time of purchase.

Returned products must be in eligible condition. Products that are damaged, stained, altered, misused, missing parts, exposed to odors, or otherwise not in acceptable return condition may be refused or may receive a reduced refund.

Original delivery fees, return pickup fees, financing fees, service fees, remote delivery fees, and other non-refundable charges may not be refunded unless required by law or expressly stated by Luun.

To start a return or exchange request, contact Luun before sending anything back. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Warranty

Luun products may include a limited warranty. Warranty coverage, exclusions, claim process, and available remedies are described in the warranty policy posted on our website or otherwise provided by Luun.

Warranty coverage does not apply to normal wear and tear, fabric fading, fabric pilling, cushion softening, comfort preference, misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, improper assembly, commercial use unless approved, pet damage, stains, odors, environmental damage, or modifications not approved by Luun.

If a warranty claim is approved, Luun may choose the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement parts, product replacement, store credit, refund, or another reasonable solution depending on the issue and product availability.

Product care and use

You are responsible for using and caring for Luun products properly. Follow any care instructions provided with the product or posted on our website.

Sofas should be used indoors in normal residential conditions unless otherwise stated. Exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, heat sources, pets, sharp objects, harsh cleaners, dyes, oils, chemicals, or improper storage may damage the product and may void warranty coverage.

Intellectual property

The Luun name, brand, website design, product designs, images, renders, videos, text, graphics, icons, builder experience, layout, and other content are owned by or licensed to Luun.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, scrape, publish, or use Luun content or brand assets without written permission, except for personal shopping and normal website use.

Reviews, messages, and submitted content

If you submit a review, message, photo, video, testimonial, comment, or other content to Luun, you confirm that the content is accurate, lawful, and yours to share.

You allow Luun to use submitted content for customer support, website display, marketing, product improvement, advertising, social media, and business purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may remove, edit, or decline to publish content that we believe is false, abusive, unlawful, misleading, offensive, promotional, spam, or otherwise inappropriate.

Third-party services

Our website may connect to third-party services such as Shopify, payment processors, financing providers, analytics platforms, advertising platforms, delivery partners, embedded tools, social platforms, or external websites.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Luun is not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, decisions, policies, errors, downtime, or actions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luun is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luun’s total liability for any claim related to the website, products, services, orders, delivery, returns, or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Luun for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luun, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, breach of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of another party’s rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute related to these terms, the website, or a purchase from Luun will be handled in the courts of British Columbia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The updated terms apply when posted, unless stated otherwise.
